Final WCCA Voting Begins!

You've had a chance to check out the nominees, now you can log in and vote in the final voting round for the 2006 Web Cartoonists' Choice Awards. Hurry over and cast your votes in all of the categories! http://www.ccawards.com/final_round.php

Also please be advised that after extensive review, it has been determined by the WCCA Committee that Foetus-X's nomination for "Outstanding Romance Comic" does not comply with the Outstanding Romance Comic category's genre criteria, as defined at http://www.ccawards.com/categories.php.

As a result, Foetus-X has been removed from the final ballot for the "Outstanding Romance Comic" category, and replaced by the next eligible comic (i.e., the eligible comic who received the most votes in that category after Foetus-X), Junk Riot. (Note that Foetus-X remains on the WCCA final ballot in 4 other categories.)

Fetus-X removal from 'Romantic Comic' award category

While I am of course disappointed that my genre-busting efforts to push the boundaries and redefine "Outstanding Romantic Comics" will not be recognized by these awards for at least another year, I would like to extend a hearty "thank you" to everyone who nominated me as well as a "congratulations" to the rest of the nominees in all categories.
