Updated Site Code In Progress

I knew when I moved Comixpedia to Drupal I'd have another upgrade later in the Spring because Drupal was almost but not quite finished with its latest and greatest version. Now it is and I've moved the site over to version 4.7. By the end of this weekend I think I'll have all of the new goodies installed and I'll explain everything that's new or improved.

But two things you should notice right off the bat: one I changed the theme again b/c there were nagging problems with the first one I just couldn't solve. I think this one is solid (and lends itself better to further customization in any event). Second there is an even better "short URL" system on the site now. For example, your user account and blog is under your user id now - so my blog is at:

http://comixpedia.com/blog/xerexes

And future stories and categories will have plain-english URLs too (just like this one).

It's kind of late though so if you notice anything odd or worse, broken - please post a comment here or email me. Thanks.

Will the site eventually show the number of individual page reads again? That was one nice feature of the old theme. Apart from that it looks great.

Dudn't notice that...

Should be easy to fix though.Â

Everything seems to check out fine on my end. Looks good, man.

Same here.

Same for me. Though I kinda think it looks sharp.

The text sixes are all funky

The text sixes are all funky now, but it still looks good. It's SUPER tiny in the comment box here-- and the posts are large type on my end.

CSS Uses Ems

I think it's cause the CSS files use EM instead of PX
