Ojingogo oddly has the exact

Ojingogo oddly has the exact number of pages (18...) as it did when it was nominated last year.
This tells me there was little or no effort involved in picking this years webcomics. Which is sort of a slap in the face for all webcomic creators...

Does That Raise the Question of Whether Ojingogo Is Eligible

Is that right?  I was a bit surprised when it was mentioned last year, not being aware of it at the time.  I remember reading it but it didn't really stick with me.

I was already a bit taken aback at it's nomination this year - not that it's bad but it's just hard to understand how it is one of the four best out there.  But if it's also not even really a new comic I wonder if it should even be eligible for this year's awards.

Does anyone have a way of verifying what Snoozer wrote?  I'm not familar with the Eisner rules so I'll have to dig up a copy or start emailing to see what if there are any eligibility requirements to publication in the year of the award.

Looks Like Nine New Pages in 2006

I looked at the Internet Archive Wayback machine and there's a page from late March 2005 for the Ojingogo comic that shows it only going to page 9.

So it does look like nine new pages of Ojingogo have been added since then.

I'm not sure still whether there's a time period of eligibility for Eisner nominations - which would sort out whether Ojingogo is being nominated for all 18 pages so far or just the 9 pages since last year's nominations.
