I have an idea for a comic book. It would be a hip hop comic book, with the main setting being in a club where they hold freestyle battles. I want to include some realistic qualities, but leave room for fantasy. I have a few character ideas, and I'm looking for some people who can help me with the brainstorming for the characters and art. I'm open for suggestion...

I think its a tyt idea. nice angle.

buy wont that setting be too small for a comic book that you possibly want to last for a long time? i just think that the setting should be anywhere and everywhere that hip hop as a culture touches. the streets, allyways, night clubs, crime ridden places etc. that should give it a more realistic feel. and that way people could relate to it more.

Im an illustrator too working on a similar project.
