Creators Guide to ComixTalk

If you're a creator here's a handy list of how you can make ComixTalk work for you and your projects:

  1. Sign up for a user account at ComixTalk. Plug your work in your user signature, add an avatar to your account (it shows up in all of your comments), add details about yourself and your work to your user profile page. Enable "contact me" so people can send you messages from this site. (All of this can be done at your user account page)

  2. Submit a Talk Post about your work and other comics-related news.  You can post directly to ComixTalk or you can add a feed from your own blog (Wordpress, Moveable Type, LJ, whatever!) to your account here at ComixTalk and your outside blog posts will automatically get cross-posted here at ComixTalk.

  3. Participate in our forums.  Talk with other creators and fans about comics and anything else.

  4. Put your name and location on our Frappr map of creators.

  5. Write for ComixTalk Magazine. We are always looking for longer-length reviews, interviews and other articles (including articles in comic form) about comics and comics-related subjects. You may also consider writing pieces for us based on your own experience and expertise in comics.

If you're interested please contact us (xerexes AT comixpedia DOT com) and check out our FAQ for Magazine contributors here.
