I'm posting this here because the Comicpress forum doesn't seem to active, so...\
I'm using Comicpress on another site I'm working on, but even I select the option "display at full size" when uploading an image, the strips are not displayed at full size. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Re: Anyone use Comicpress?
The Comic Press forum, while not too active, is much more so than this forum. All the details are written out in great detail in the forum, and in the comic's faq itself, which comes with the comic press download. Follow the instructions, and it'll work a-ok. My initial troubles stemmed from expecting the comics to auto-publish, regardless of whether or not an associated blog post under the "comic" category was made. It's all very customizable in the Functions.php file, which is spelled out pretty well in laymen's terms.

Re: Anyone use Comicpress?
I second that - this forum is here as a catch-all for wordpress scripts and other scripts but if there's a dedicated forum for a script (like Comicpress) it would make sense to check that one first.
I've installed Comicpress 2.0 fairly recently and it was very easy (it's at xaviarxerexes.com)

Re: Anyone use Comicpress?
I don't suppose you can tell us what size your comics are supposed to be... ideally in pixels.
I have noticed that you might need to do a bit of template tweaking with some of the more extreme sizes.

Re: Anyone use Comicpress?
I have a pretty good idea!
The short, unhelpful answer is "you're probably not doing it right."
The longer answer...
Comics go in the comics folder, and are not uploaded separately on each post. The script will automatically grab it from the folder and display it full-size. Uploading a graphic to a post will make it display smaller, not across the top of the page full-size, as it should.
You have to create a comics folder in the root directory, set its permissions to "777", upload your comics to that folder with the yyyy-mm-dd.gif format (do this using FTP or SCP, not with the upload function), then write a post with a timestamp matching that date. You don't have to have any text in the body of the post, but it must have a title, which can be anything.
Lots of people have trouble with this function - check the archives at the Support Forum over on Lunchbox Funnies
