On Wednesday May 14, I had the opportunity to teach some kids at a local elementary school how to draw cartoons. We had a really good time, and my friend, Chris Free, took a ton of pictures.

Webcomic collective Boxcar Comics is pleased to announce a re-energized creative direction with a redesigned web site to boot!

As part of our renewed purpose, Boxcar is investing efforts into monthly creator-hosted podcasts (coming soon), published jam comics(also, coming soon) and an increased collective presence at comic book conventions.

YHT Newsletter . . .

I've been beating around the bush on this idea for a while now, and it's time to just do it. I'm starting up a monthly YHT newsletter that will contain a lot of the info that we talk about in the blog here, but will also contain some behind-the-scenes info, contests, and updates on future projects (2008 is the year I start working on some new stuff!).

This Sunday, October 28, I'll be speaking at Trinity United Methodist Church during an evening event called Between the Lines. The event runs from 6 to 8 PM, and I'll be speaking at some point in between those times. :)
